A very special thanks to our Foster Grandparents for their participation in our Martin Luther King Jr. Service Project. Over 70 blankets were made by our DMESC foster grandparents for cancer patients and children. Blankets were delivered to The Call of Howard County, Little River Baptist Assoc. Pregnancy Center, Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS, Arkansas Children's Hospital, Mercy Center Oncology (Fort Smith), Baptist Health Cancer Center (Fort Smith), Genesis Cancer Center (Hot Springs), KOTA Cancer Clinic (Hot Springs), and CHI St Vincent Cancer Center (Hot Springs). Hopefully, these blankets will be a blessing to these patients as much as our foster grandparents are to our students. #thinkcoop1st We Serve and Support our Schools for Student Success.
