🎉🤖🌟 What an exciting kickoff to CS Week at the DMESC STEM Hub! Today, Stacey Southerland, CTE Coordinator, and Tyra Hobson, Technology Coordinator, teamed up to host the first student event. Partnering with CS Specialists Ashley Kincannon and Tammy Glass, along with the DMESC Migrant program led by Darla Neely, students dived into the world of creativity and technology. Students took on the challenge of designing their very own toy company and crafting a robot with unique superpowers. They printed their company logos using the Glowforge laser cutter, designed custom headbands with Cricut and coded their robots using Python with Circuit Playgrounds. The result? Each student left with unforgettable memories from a day filled with learning and exploration. #ARKidsCanCode #CSforAR, #thinkcoop1st. We Serve and Support our Schools for Student Success.
